anyone like this band....i think they are excellent and i cant wait to see them in septemeber at bloodstock along with children of bodom.....sonata arctica are like stratovarious but better in my opinion.....listen to replica and i guarendamntee u will be hooked

Hey dean! ya I liked those songs there, oh and you mentioned stratovarious, have you heard a song they made called speed of light? the guitar is played by the same guy that played that played that song you gave a 8/10 for the good guitar work, his name is Yngwie Malmsteen, anyway I know you like Europe and I have heard John Norum europs guitar player, play the same solo EVEN FASTER he ownes!, anyway to go back to the topic, yes those songs in the links where great, specialy the secound and the last!

*lol* it so happens that a friend of mine (a fan of the group) recently played for me a song by them.

they begin with this bizarre/creepy phone call...proceed to (somewhat) gently play/sing the melody for a verse or two...then, without warning, bust into this totally angry/psycho-sounding segment. it's really funny...i killed myself laughing when i heard it.

Sonata have about 3 good songs IMO and my head starts splitting in half if I hear to much of them at once.
Not my bowl of soup I guess.

Alright I just listened to Fullmoon and i dont think I'll be listening to anymore of them...

Wow, i love this band, a friend played me some of their stuff a while back and ive been hooked ever since! i like the album "winterheart's Guild" best, me three fav. songs on that album are Victoria's secret, the misery and gravenimage.
