Good points! Now I think "love" and the "force of love" is one and the same thing. But this thread is about what airangel thought about Lily. 😛
I like airangel's theory, it's very unique but what Scar pointed out holds true. Hmm, I also see why Sauron thinks it's love but then again - how can you store an emotion in a room? How is it kept, in a jar or something? 😖 I'm thinking it has to be something tangible - maybe it's something so powerful that it has to be kept by itself otherwise it's uncontrollable.
Then I was thinking - what does Harry have in big amounts that V doesn't other then love? Plus, even though Voldy doesn't have love love par se - he does have desire and love for power and the devotion of his followers with their conviction, that's a kind of love isn't it? Even if it's for bad intentions... then I realised that is the difference. Voldemort has love for control/power/crimes/violence etc and Harry has been a victim, he has love for those lost, for his friends and has support - he has righteous love/anger/vengence - conviction and courage but for good things. Just like how Harry and Slytherin share many similar traits but use them differently - so what is it that can determine between the two? Dumbledore already answered that in the very first book - it's our choices that make us who we are. So, what can judge us on our choices and see who we are and why would whatever it is seem to be thought to favour Harry? The answer to that is justice and not necessarly love - so is the object/being or whatever in this room a dealer of justice but one so powerful it is only used or chooses to use itself in very rare occassions when it seems people can't sort out the problems themselves? Would it then be like the arc in Indianna Jones? I don't know and it might seem silly or far fetched but that is my idea for now lol 🙂 (if it isn't love that is 😉 ).
