personally i think most games on gamecube aren't that good i've heard resident evil 4 is very good but you know what its coming to ps2 just like veiwtiful joe did and if you count that out it seems that all nintendo relies on are first party rehash games like mario and pokemon. mario will attract die hard fans who simply love playing a fat annoying plumber who dresses in red and pokemon will attract the little kids who like getting the new monsters in each game even though they seem to just be old ones with face lifts. there are my two cents and by the way i think psp will crush the DS
PS2 version of RE4 is going to be complete crap compared to the Gamecube's.
Alot of other console games are games with new facelifts. Half of the PS2 library is games with new facelifts. Mario, Zelda, Metriod are generally consider some of the best games ever made. According the Gamerankings.com, 4 out of 10 best games ever ranked are Nintendo products. 2 of them are Gamecube games while Xbox has 1 title and PS2 none.
Not saying Gamecube is the best because it does lack the majority of popular games like GTA and more mature games, but in terms of quality, Gamecube rivals both other consoles.
But for me, I love fps games and there is no other way to play FPS than to play it on the PC. Sorry XBOX but you dont count.

PC, best for FPS and RTS, no doubt about it. Look at the range of them on the PC shelves. PS2 and Xbox kill PC at RPG, Driving and a scatter of shooters, action and sports. I hate it when they try to do stuff like putting AOE on PS2 and all that, some games just belong on a certain console, they all have their uniqueness.
True, you did say Pokeman are new game with facelifts. But you didnt refere specifically about Pokeman, but Nintendo games in general.
I dont the game RE4 will suck, because the GC is one of the best games out there. But the technology behind the game is dated compared the GC so the experience which heavily relies on the good graphics will be missed, making the port not as good as the GC.
Nonbody said that Nintendo has the best games. I said in terms of quality of the games, Nintendo is up and maybe past XBOX and PS2. Check the top rated games in gamerankings.com. Nintendo has more games in the top 10 than any other company who makes consoles. Im not saying the other consoles are weaker or have crappy games, but Nintendo does have some of the best games ever made.
hmmm well ok the graphics maybe be less good however if it really is a good game it shouldn't need perfect graphics to be good. and when you say the quality of the games do you mean how innovative they are or maybe how good the graphics are or maybe the addictability factor? could you be more specific on that
