Hey guys, hey guys hey guys!!!!!!!!!!! Guess what, guess what guess what!!!!! Get this!! There is a good chance Spike DID NOT die at the end of the anime!! Isn't that great??!!!! I'm only saying it possible! Watanabe said he never said Spike died, in an interview!!🙂

to be honest, i hope he stayed dead, despite him being one of my favorite characters in an anime. if they tried to continue it, it would start to get repetitive and stale (inuyasha, anyone?)

Aw, I'm sure Watanabe is clever enough to keep that from happening if Spike is alive. He said he didn't know if Spike was dead. Pretty much leaving it to the viewer's imagination, and if he ever wanted to continue he could do it easily if he wanted to.

Wow, I thought it was blatantly obvious that Spike was dead. Watanabe is just trying to be a pretentious **** and make it something far more than what it was.

interesting that he relates himself to my two favorite characters of his. probably explains why he uses that character type in those two animes

Has anyone seen that thing from Keanu Reeves how he's interested in playing Spike ?

Mr reeves is interested in catchin a bullet in the face. I cant really think of a good actor than can play Spike.

i love cowboy bebop. it had some of the best characters, some of the best 2-episoders and a narrative style that would put novelists to shame. it was beautiful...and one of the things that make a story beautiful is that it ends.
Spike is dead. and his end was done beautifully. that's what made Spike all the more special: we watched him live the way he did and we watched his life (and story) come to an end.

we don't need a sequel. Watannabe should leave Cowboy Bebop the way it is. there is a time when all story tellers need to put your foot down and tell the fans to go f0ck themselves because there is nothing else left to say. For spike's sake, i hope that's what Watannabe does.

You try to think of an anime even slightly better than bebop and you end up wit a pretty short damn list, prolly not even a list at all.

Bebop was the 1st anime I watched for more than just action, even though there was alot of that too.
