After the restaurant scene where Cuba gooding jr's wife's water breaks, and him and renee are back in the bedroom, after the kid comes in, she realizes he loves the kid and not her right? I've seen it 3 times and still don't understand this.

he never really loved her or never really realized until the "you got me at hello" part. yes, he may have asked her to marry him but it's for saving on something (insurance, i think). if you look at the part where jerry was at the altar, look at his expression... he knows he made a mistake... HE SHOP LIFTED THE P@@TIE!!!
