I think I can explain deleting that crazy thread you just mention Bardock. See, that was made by a sock of troll. Basically the thread had no real topic (even thought it was in the OTF) and was only causing attention to the troll. So I had to delete it to avoid any further motivitaions for him to continue posting.

But wouldn't banning and closing have done a similar thing....and I could have read Vinny and Bloigen's replies.

Well, that's okay, since it is an option, I was just suggesting that it should maybe be discussed if it is a valid option or should be changed.
Could there be an 'Spoiler' movies sub-forum? Lots of the movie forums have threads on say, Pirates of the Caribbean 3, and people just dont realise that they end up spoiling it for everyone else by making a thread that describes what happens, I see it all the time.
So if a thread was made that had spoilers about an upcoming movie, it could be moved to the Spoiler forum, where only those who want to know about the future movies would post. Its a real pain in the ass when someone accidently spoils a movie a good half a year or more before it even comes out. You could still have discussion/theory threads in the normal forums, but this one would be for strictly spoilers, inc. pictures/stoylines/characters and so on.
I Think we should have a "Bashing Forum"
This wold pull out alot of bashing from withen the other forums, but it would be alloud. No Mod's could ban someone for being bashful or such, and people would go wild.
Have a Warning that if people get offended easilyn ot to go in there.
It's a perfect way to let people go wild and not get in trouble. They can just keep it to the Bashing Forum.
