Not such a bad idea... May cause people to feel bullied though; if they're blocked from lots of threads. Then they may flame the whole forum or something....

Imagine someone making a thread only they and their friends could post it. (I.e. A 3 person thread.)

that'd be a bit unfair for users
KMC is supposed to be user friendly 🙂
and giving members too much power is never a good idea.
if this were to go a ahead i can see it being abused for the wrong reasons
such a feature could cause a new form of member bashing.

KMC is packed full of members. it's already complicated enough to get half of them to post in the right places, no need to add more forums if there is an existing appropriate forum for it. simplicity is always better, newcomers
already get complaints about these things when they join no need to escalate the problem.

Exactly, therefore in my opinion having a separate section just adds that bit more to the forum and a separate page too so that one whole page of various stuff is not gettin too confusing, which it does.

Ability to change your font, font color, etc and set it as a default for when you post.

Like maybe I want to have blue text whenever I post. Instead of always doing vB code to change it to blue on every post I can go to my user CP and change my settings to have my text as blue all the time.

That's a good idea. There is an addon for Firefox where you can highlight the text you wish to modify and rightclick to access 'bbcodextra', if that helps for the time being 🙂

I think that if we were going to have any Physics related forum, it'd have to be a heck of a lot more general than just Astronomy.
