Only if you actually care about how many posts you have.

Considering it'd probably knock down on a lot of the spam posts in the OTF, I don't see it being a stupid idea.

It would get rid of the post whores who like to accumulate posts just to make it on the Top 25 Posters list.

I understand, but I just think you should either get rid of the post count altogether or not do anything. To have it only apply to one forum seems arbitrary.

I wonder how long it would take for someone to create a thread to calculate and list your OTF post count.

Couldnt you make a link to posts for each forum on the Forum Home page, like the one that was used for individual threads?

About five seconds.

But that's not the point.

The point is, we want Morning Glory's post count lowered. haermm

The 'Next Page' link in the custom smilies page just links back to page 1. The scroll over says next page but the url is page 1.

Removing all post counts seems appealing.

I agree to remove post counts. I could care less about how many times I've posted, since I never made it into a contest like some people do.

Some members, however, might not feel that way. Maybe we should have an official thread for people to vote to keep or remove posts counts.

Honestly, if people dont' care...

Maybe if you don't care about, don't push it... Let those who try for it, go for it.. And those who don't care... Well who cares?

At the very least, make post counts like thread counts, where you can't see them, and you'd have to count.

Or is that the same thing? haermmione

dur Because we're trying to discourage those who spam the forum with empty, retarded posts just to boost their post counts.

Why not just ignore them?

Why do you honestly care if they just spam like threads like XYZ's?

Because it's not just threads like XYZ's, it's their own new threads, it's threads that are supposed to have a purpose.

And why should I have to put them on ignore? That's not going to stop them from continuing to be idiots.

Getting rid of the post count would be awesome.

Yeah get it done, I hate the elitist mentality, of a few of the users of this board, that think that a post count is the equivalent of a high contribution. The fact remains though, that these are the same people that use threads like 'masterbation log' as their instant messenger.

I agree.

-Raz, (or another Mod whom has discussed the following question with Raz)-

Is there any chance on us being able to use custom smilies in our sig-space again, or did a few people permanently muck that up for everyone?

No custom smilies in sigs.

Yes I understand that.

I was mainly wondering if Raz plans to ever lift that restriction, or if it's a permanent thing?
