I already stated what I meant about the PM thing. I get a ton of pointless PMs and ones that would be better handled not via PM. If someone sends me a message saying "I misspelled a word fix it", I'm not going to respond. Sorry, I'm neither a spellchecker nor a living edit button. If someone sends me a PM asking for a signature to be made, I'm not going to respond because I've said many times I don't make them for others. If someone sends a PM asking to merge threads or something like that, I generally tell them to report the thread so that it's easier to deal with and it doesn't necessarily have to wait for me to get online to be dealt with (half the time messages like that don't even include links to the threads in question!).
However, if I get a PM with something like "Someone's spamming porn all over the VS forum", or asking for a rule clarification, or if I tell them myself to PM me? Of course I'll respond or take action. Those are important. If they don't like my response and start making attacks, that is when I will stop responding. I'm not going to take abuse from people, no matter where it is.

...due to the fact that some of the moderating team seem, alot of the time, on the defensive in regards to their actions, that they will again take it as an attack on their moderation style and thus start another cyclic and pointless argument.

Jaden: In your initial post when you stated that Mods would read your post as an attack... that was really you blowing the intention of your post into the open- if it had been open and honest you would never have included such a "im innocent before you accuse me" fail safe.
Clearly what is happening is authority is undermined and you and other users are having a good time dancing around the edges of acceptability tempting any moderator to take the bait and go off the handle.
As evidence by the previous post to this your game is catching on- therefore I suggest that any debate concerning Moderation be moved from this thread- designed to deal with suggestions for improving the board- to another thread made to deal with the issue. (That is if it's deemed prudent to allow the discussion/baiting game continue).
(Perhaps the Forum Leaders should have an internal discussion concerning whether or not they feel they are acting in an appropriate manner and then try to address any problems they uncover.)

1: It's not "my game" so whether the problem of people harrassing moderators is happening is nothing to do with me
2: You completely and utterly missed the point of my posting what i did...not to mention you're trying to misrepresent it by saying that i claimed the mods would see it as an attack...i didn't...i said they'd see it as 1 of 2 things...and i was right
3: i already sorted the issue out with the moderators
4: the mods have already made it clear there is to be no thread to discuss their actions
5: my post was completely open and honest so to suggest otherwise is nonsensical...and more so than that...every word of it was valid
