I'm sorry, but two people K.Diddy and Spooony were in favour of the idea of closing the Vs. forums, you said "Heh, suggestions about closing the most popular forum coming from people who helped kill the OTF...facepalm", no wriggling in this world can make that anything but a dig at Spooony and K.Diddy (and possibly some other members, though that's not apparent from the thread), perhaps not personally. It's not even a big deal, but that you deny it and make Spooony out to be a fool for taking it that way, is dishonest. However it is off-topic, so I will not continue with it, even if you should reply, I hope that's okay, if you want me to elaborate in PM I am willing to do so.

I just have to say, why doesn't Raz hand over the reigns of KMC to someone else? He comes online once or twice a year now and never makes the changes he's promised.

😬 I agree,I mean the forum is getting deader all the time,and there are people like myself and others that do still care about this site and having an administrator that just seems to longer care,Just feels unfair to the boards members.. Please keep in mind that I am not saying Raz no longer cares,that is just sadly the impression I am getting,and probably other members and even mods across the board as well.

My suggestion is to add as many lines of code as are necessary to ensure that one's own posts are not flagged "new."

Seriously, though, my forums have had a serious overrun of bots and spammers. It is sickening.

I propose that a rule be implemented that new members cannot post signatures of any kind until, say, after 100 posts. I think that a rule like this would help deter the bot/spammer infestation.

However, since Raz is MIA, I may as well shut my mouth.

if you had to register to view the forums.
it might cut back on trolling a bit, and then perhaps give someone who is on all the time, just enough power to go on the sock/spammer hunt.

or doing the whole, admin or mods have to approve of accounts being made.

it would be a f*cking boring job, tedious as shit, but it might help.
we need to clean up the spam, start deleting closed threads and such, maybe some users who signed up and never posted.

i just think we could save on server space, clean up the place and see where it takes us.

i mean, if we're really talking about doing stuff for KMC...

I agree with this statement. At the very least if you dont want to turn the board over completely then give someone else admin powers along with you. It's kind of ridic that nothing can be fixed, changed, or implemented because the one person who has that ability is never here.
