which name from a book you've read do you wish was yours?

have you ever experienced reading a book and finding a unique name there that you wished was your name? i have, it's from the book "Thief Lord" i like the name Prosper. 💃 💃 💃 💃 💃

My name would be Leto Atreides from the classic Dune.

I like the elvish names Tolkien used 😄 and Lyra from Philip Pulman trilogy
and erm... others too, just can't think of them now

i iked prosper too from theif lord. im all for greek names from the myths. i luv em..paris..achillis..dionysus..zues..posiedon..er..apollo i like a lot and hermes too

Lyra was the first name from a book I really wished to be my own; as well as Pantalaimon, her daemon 🙂

Now all my favourites come from Osten Ard (like Cynethrith, Dendinis, Aeswides, Mircha, Efiathe or all the wonderful Hernystiri-names) and of course Middle-earth - Nellas 😱 or Laiquelasse (😮 yes I do like the name... though I dislike the character, or what he became through the movies)... Tar-Míriel... Andreth... Nerdanel... Alquandil... Irilde... Fíriel... 😊

I actually like the name The Walking Dude from The Stand.

And there's a book series (can't remember the name) and the main character is named Alanna...and my name is Alana...I though that was pretty cool ✅

Pantalaimon, I hated that name, I think it sounds awful 🙁
at least in the greek translation (cause it's of greek origin I think)

Yep, that's it...I couldn't remember the name of the books (I read them years ago), only that it was written by Tamora Pierce and that the main character had the same name as me, only spelled slightly different ✅

well...my name is scott so I'd have to go with Scottimus Prime! (remember Optimus Prime from Transformers?) The old transformer coloring books were EXCELLENT reads :-P

I also like latin/greek names. I use Animus. I love that name so much My bands name is Animus and I use Animus in every internet thing i do. Stupid registration here messed up when i registered Animus and wouldn't let me post after i registered it for some reason, so i had to use Animagus instead :'(
