Xavier did not die in the last episode of the animated x-men (the good one) Well he almost died but a lady from the Sheria empire Lelandra was her name came and saved Xavier from taking the big sleep. She took him to their planet. And the I think she was the leader of the that planet.

Anyways I am trying to spell the name of the planet, where Gladiator comes from. This is where Lelandra took a very sick professor to recover.

Physcially though he was basically dead, and I haven't seen that episode in a very long time even though I have it, but I decided to see every other episode before it first thus my memory is not too fresh.

You mean the Astral Plane, nope it was Lilandra's Shi'Ar Empire.

Here is the synopsis revealing the location.

Due to a serious injury, Professor Xavier is dying and must leave with Lilandra and go with her to the Shi'Ar Empire. He bids farewell to his X-Men. The last scene of this show ends with all of the X-men standing outside the mansion watching Lilandra's ship carrying Xavier flying away.

Oh and Xavier did die in a way at least physically,

Xavier: "Perhaps not in body my children, but my spirit will remain among you, where it was always meant to be."

Of couse there in MOTP were Joker killed 2 people,

He killed a few guards in the show but thats about it I think, He was not harmless.
