Actually - it's not so subjective: You are making a point of trying to nominate a film which you already know isn't going to be eligible. If you have to fight injustice and oppression you might want to choose a more worthwhile target than trying to get S-M2 included in an online poll, because, trust me, childish is the BEST thing you can hope to be called.

Thats an admirable attitude - sticks and stones etc...

However it's worth bearing in mind that if everyone is yelling that you are being childish then chances are thats exactly what you are doing.

Now, if your answer is "I Don't mind that I'm acting childish, because I'm a big kid!!!!" more power to you, but don't expect to be taken seriously.

You have yet to stop whining about this. I told you to go create another poll so that you can get your Spider-Man 2 vote out there instead of beating a dead horse. Now I have even gone out and created the thread FOR YOU, and you still have yet to go over and make use of it. At least FilmProphet has taken advantage of the opportunity and placed a vote there.

I am strongly beginning to believe that you couldn't care less about what movie wins a film of the month award as much as you care to argue solely for the sake of arguing. Otherwise, you would have dropped this long ago, and created your own poll.

My thread is quite different than your other one. Thank you for censoring me... I think I'll be taking a break from these forums for awhile if this is what I get for trying to provide an alternative thread to keep the peace.

Being as how I'm new(ish) here can i ask - is it against the rules for me (without naming names!) to suggest that rather than giving the whiny people the attention they crave we ignore them and get on with the semi-serious business of talking about film?

If you click on the user's name and go to their profile, there is an option at the bottom of the screen to add them to your "ignore list."

It will just be you ignoring them, however. Whenever they make a post their message will not be shown. It will just say, "so-and-so on your ignore list" or something like that.

Most people on other message boards do it for profanity reasons.

Stormy Day I respect the fact that you want Spider-Man 2 to be on the poll, but the answer is no I'm sorry, in couple of months times you can nominate it if you like. What your saying is very harsh and spiteful, please try and RE-FRAME from trolling.
