Mephisto is the victim of some of Comicdom's most baffeling authorship...He should always be written as what he is...A evil bastard and one of marvels most powerful characters. That being said, he can't hang with the Green and White.

What has Meph done to even put him close to The Spectre?

even if this were DoV spectre, he'd take it - whether it be in mephisto's own realm, or not. why? because as we've already seen, he can literally draw power from anywhere. i mean, spectre was not only siphoning energy from within shazam's place of power, but he was also gathering energy from shazam's mystical artifacts as well. that being said, there is no reason stealing power from meph's realm would be any different, imo.

in a nutshell, spectre at pert-near any 'level' would take this. just my opinion. 🙂
