Mecha Wars.

Alright this is a VS thread to find out what the most powerful Mecha team in anime.
The fight will consist of:

1. The Gundam Wing team

2. The Evas

3.The Autobots

4.The Decepticons

5. The Arbalest Unit

6. The Valkries

Over the next few posts I'll put in the strengths and weaknesses of each team. Then we can vote to see who we think will win this metal mayhem.

The Gundams.

Strengths: Work well in a team. High range of weapons. Very mobile

Weaknesses: Pilots can go crazy for a while. Have a tendency to lose their ranged weapons. Quatre.

Team: Wing Zero custom. Possibly the best of the Gundams, has wings attached to its back. Main weapon is the double barrel Buster Cannon, a beam saber and a shield.
Deathscythe custom. Stealth model equipped with radar jammers and the ability to bend light to hide its body. Main weapon. Energy scythe which and drill missile.
Heavyarms custom. Heavy armaments model designed to fight multiple enemies. Main weapon. Two double gatling guns and a range of missiles.
Altron/Shenlong custom. All purpose model designed for a range of fighting. Main weapon strange claws that can be launched to grapple enemies, they also carry what seems to be a flame thrower and a double ended energy trident.
Sandrock custom. close range combat almost no ranged weapons. Main weapon. Two shota that can be super heated.

Note. All gundams have Vulcan canons at their shoulders and some small missile launchers.

The Evas.

Strengths: Largest of the Mechas. AT field which can stop most attacks. Berserker mode.

Weaknesses. Pilots are mentally unstable. Pilots are mentally synchronized with the Evas so any attack is felt by them. If external power via a cord is cut then The Evas have five minutes before they run out of power.

Team: Eva Unit 1. Most powerful of the Evas, has become God at one at one point, wiping out the human race then bringing it back. Main weapon. rifle, progressive knife.
Eva Unit 2. actual battle Eva made for production. Main weapon see above.
Eva Unit 0. Test Eva, has a tendency to try and kill its pilot. Main weapon. see above.

The Autobots.

Strengths: Large army of them. Can transform between robot and vechil to increase manuvrability and speed.

Weaknesses: Smaller than the others. Will most probably go straight for the decepticons.

Team. Too many to name. Main weapons. Lasers

The Decepticons.

Strengths: Read Autobots

Weaknesses. Smaller than other teams. Will most probably go straight for the Autobots: Half the team will rebel after two to three minutes.

Team: See Autobots. Main weapons. See Autobots

The Arbalest.

Strengths: Lambda driver. As long as the pilot concentrates the Arbalest can do anything.

Weakness: If pilot doesn't concentrate the Arbalest can be crushed by the others easily. No other team members.

Team: Arbalest. Black technology mech desinged with Lambda driver. Main weapon. Rifle, knife

The Valkries.

Strengths: Faster than greased lightning. Can transform into jets with extreme style.

Weakness: Need a random J pop singer to do any good.

Team: Entire army. Main weapon. Lasers on Valkrie

Thanks Tranceduo. The Arbalest has a good chance since as long as the Pilot concentrates hard enough one shot from his rifle could theoretically kill everyone else. But since that level of concentration is almost impossible I'll go for the Decepticons. One of them's the size of a city. Literally and as soon as I remember his name I'll post it

i think cos he went crazy and blew up a colony. I said evas.

but wouldnt that be a strength that he accomplish that on his own? plus another thing is that not every pilot goes randomly insane...theyve got to have the zero system installed to enhance their abilities...

I rated Quatre as a weakness because not only because he has the worst Gundam ever made but because he is essentially a pasicict who kills. By the end of the series I was quite content with the thought of gutting him to stop his whining.

Well most people think the Evas are taking home the title with the Gundams only one vote behind. strangely the Arbalest has only one vote along with the Deceptacons. The Valkries and Autobot trail with no votes.

Go Gundam

Somehow its unsurprising that the Evas and the Gundams have the most votes but don't discount the others remember the number and combing abilitesof the Transformers mean they can still go toe to toe with the others, the arbalestcould destroy everyone in on go and th valkries are fast enough to avoid most targeting sensors.

Well it took me months (mainly because of my PC's death and my colleges crappy rules) but I finally know the name of the city sized Decepticon. TRIPTICON, this dude could step on the others and win. And please note that although its unfair for the Decepticons to have the 'living city' as well as the fused Decepticons like Predicus and Devastator there are no rules so they can alright.

Sandrock Kai is an excellent suit, except Quatre is a horrible pilot. The whole point of making him kill people was to show the conflictions of pacifists, how they struggle to keep their anger in check and with the Zero system Quatre juts plain lost it.
