And what the hell was the deal with Ultimate Carnage being Peter's father? I mean, it wasn't literally his father, come back from the dead, but that's what Peter referred to it as.

yeah ultimate venom will be coming back as will black cat and whats up with a villain having an arc then dieing or going away then almost always having a second arc? its somehow monotonous

I want to see Ultimate Venom vrs. Ultimate Carnage. 😄

Let's try to clarify this issue.

No one is suggesting Ultimate origins should be "exactly the same." I think people are just not getting this.... let's use an example: Ultimate Venom.

Would it have been okay if U. Venom had been a mindless pile of goo meandering around, sucking people dry of all bodily fluids? How would that have been? Would you have liked it? Would you have said, "How true to the character! This rules!" ? What if Peter Parker had been written as a crossdressing transexual? Would that be okay? It'd be "new," we can all agree on that. Is change for the sake of change usually a thing that turns out well?

Somehow I doubt it, and deep down in your hearts everyone knows this is true.

I was also hoping to see Ultimate Cassidy.
