O man if Johnny was to win an oscar that would just make it.........We all know that Johnny chose the route that many actors wouldnt dream of going down, but by Johhny winning an oscar it would just proove that u dont always have to take the straight and easy route that many actors choose to take, in order to acieve rewards.
I and im guessing the rest of the johnny fan base respect him for the route he's taken and the movies he's chosen to do, i think all the movies he's done are great....... and personally id rather watch johnny in an off beat/quirky film like benny and joon rather than watching johnny starring in a world wide blockbuster. I know that POTC was a blockbuster... but Johnny was still playing a quirky/off beat character, but i dunno... i guess i just wouldn't like to see Johnny in a really serious role starring in a big blockbuster like Troy or something.
Im sure that Johnny will recieve an oscar at some point.... hes almost 41, hes got many years of acting left in him........ however, the academy tend to award the oscars to serious roles in big movies (thats why sean penn won it this year😠 ) , so unless Johnny does one of those movies i don't think he'll recieve one, unless of course... the academy changes the way they choose the winners (which they definatley should)
Johnny was over the moon just to be nominated for an oscar, can u imagine if he won? it would have just made all the effort and hard work hes put in over the years worth it! 😄 I just wish him the best of luck for the future, maybe next year or in a couple of years time the academy will actually open their eyes and see what an amazing actor Johnny really is. 💃

I hope Johnny does, there is no denying he is one of he best actors of his time although it's just a shame he doesnt get recognised as often as he should, he has an excellent reputation in the industry.
Can i ask "Xmen Fan" if you dont like Johnny and you're in love with Bloom, why are you in this thread??

Sorry kid, but Orlando can't act he's just another pretty face. Don't you see? Legolas was Will Turner in POTC, Paris was Legolas in LOTR, they're all the same he can't play a different character! HE CAN'T EVEN CHANGE HIS ACCENT!

Orlando winning and Oscar??? that IS funny. Can you not see that he can't act? just cos he can read out the lines right, doesn't mean he's good enough for an oscar. and he hasn't had a role that deserve an oscar yet.
i think jd should get one tho... he's so versitile (can't spell) and he seems to fill the shoes of the character so well.
