Being mature for a moment here and putting aside the fact JD is beautiful. There is no way you can say he cant act, he is one of the few young actors with integrity and gravitas. He chooses what he wants to do and does not go where the money is. Anyone who says he cant act doesn't know the art of acting or cinema.
Now, he is good-looking but thats just preference i guess. His looks will have helped him, to a certain extent, on his journey to where he is now- sad but true. But it is good to see an actor using TALENT to get places.
