all these are just blah blah blah - waiting to see....
THE INCREDIBLES!
The Darkness
Perhaps difficult to apply the "Batman 1" dark effect and yet maintain the humerous approach of "The Darkness" Book
BUT - This could make an amazing movie if they don't spend all their money on special effects as in spawn. Focus should be kept on getting a decent actor who bares some resemblence to the comic character. Character focussed stories are among my favourites, though a "wider picture" version of some of the marvel or DC movies could be interesting.... for example, Green Lantern, Superman, Batman etc. all making appearances in the same movie, or even Hulk, Spider Man, Silver Surfer etc... A movie which is slightly more down to earth and perhaps more story than action from the perspective of "This is what life is like in a world with superheroes". I'd find that very interesting - Of-course packed with action, but not so focussed on which foot one hero uses to fly-kick his arch-enemy.
What I think would really be interesting - A villain movie. Picking one at random - Marvel's Apocalypse from X-men - or perhaps Galactus >> someone very powerful and debateably evil. I think it would be interesting to paint their picture on the movie screen - A sort of "this is how I came to be such an evil git" sort of perspective. Mystique would be perfect for this type of movie too I think.
I think virtually any super-hero movie can be AMAZING if they can just stop re-inventing to gear the target to children. Kids are always itching to get their hands on big folks movies. The restraints placed on this genre of picture when geared towards the youth seems to successively RUIN very good stories. It really annoys me.
It would be nice to see Juggernaught, Warren Worthington and a lot more from Collosus in the next installment of Xmen. I know they're planning this Pheonix stuff, but I'm dreading it to be honest. I think she should be binned.

If Top Cow EVER EVER EVER EVER got enough money to make this movie, I would write, call, fax, email, PESTER them until they actually did. A Darkness movie would rock SO MUCH ASS, that I'd pass out.
Batman Begins looks like it could be a worthy batman movie. Spider-man 3 is at the top of my list, Superman only because Bryan singer is directing which means that there will probly be no X-men 3 or will be directed by someone else who will kill the series. AVP looks awsoeme and i'll be there on the first day of openig. Ironman wish there was a move but it looks like it may be a long time.
I can't wait for Fantastic Four, I am not a huge fan but I want to see how good the CGI for Mr.Fantastic/Torch/Thing is going to be (is Thing going to be total CGI like Hulk and that creature from LOTR).
I am also looking forward to Ironman, and Silver Surfer (just to see how badly they mess up the story line since it is so thightly woven with FF and Galactus). They will probably do something stupid like make him Human (then again Marvel has been pretty careful with its project so far.. so I will have to wait and see)....
That is all... most of the rest are prequels/sequels or remakes so it will be more of the same.
