Although its not official the Lizard and Harry will almost certainly be the next two villains in Spider-Man 3. They originally had a draft of Spider-Man 2 which featured both Black Cat and Doc Ock but she was removed so they could focus more on the other characters Peter, Harry, etc.

Just read this highlight below from a recent interview with Sam Raimi.

I've never asked her, but I get the feeling she just wants this one to be the final one. She's very emotionally attached to them and wants us to have a sense of completion to it, for the audience. And feels that's what the audience wants and they don't want to see a Spider-Man 4. That they would probably would like to see a Spider-Man 3, but probably not really anymore

I think Ray Liotta will be good but I think he's a little too old to play him.Richard C. Everbeck was a good choice though.

Someone mentions onscreen symbiotes and immediately someone will start screaming "BUSEY FOR VENOM/CARNAGE/SCREAM/SPIDEY, BLACK SUIT/ANYONE!!!!!"

I don't see it. Busey is hideously ugly and has the attraction-factor of a Tasmanian Devil, and not the Disney version, either. He's not sexy, he's not BUILT, I don't get it! Why do people want to see him?! How is he right to be either Brock or Kasady?! I do not see one single thing he has in common with them!

Oh wait, I remember now. Someone on another board justified him as Carnage because.... he had red hair. I nearly fell OUT of my chair laughing. We're casting by hair-color?! That's the sole criterion? Hyperbole there, but you get my drift.

He doesn't have presence- I checked out the Frighteners. He's NOT Carnage-caliber.

The thing about red hair- generally, people ASSUME that a red-head has a good amount of crazy in him/her, just naturally. Not true. OK, maybe a tiny bit true (true of us all)- but that doesn't mean Busey can reach down inside himself and find Carnage. Good lord, it's actually no compliment to assume that he must be able to connect with that charactor by virtue of his temperament alone... No, what's needed and most desirable is an actor who can analyse the charactor and generate the persona from the substance of canon- that should be predominate.

i think the best role for venom would go to....... Vin Diesel, cuz he is big and he looks liek Eddie, anyone agree?

Sylvester Stallone as Brock.but he can be in Spidey 3!!!!Go Sly!!!!!

Sly is good but isn't he a little too old to play him. I think the best guy for Eddie/Venom was Richard C. Everbeck who was supposed to be him in SM1

Yup the Rocky actor could be the role as Eddie Brock in "Spider-Man 3".but there is CGI Venom in the third Spidey movie.
