Ever notice that Lucas didn't put the streaking stars lightspeed scene in Episode I? What's up with that?

I know they did a lightspeed scene, but not the blurry star one we're all used to.

I noticed they didn't use the word "lightsabre" either. Anakin called it a laser sword. Typical of a child I would think.

I would have corrected him. Grumpy old Jedi Ush would correct ANYONE who called itn a laser sword.

I don't know why they didn't show the lightspeed, but maybe they will in AOTC......somehow I doubt it was some sort of oversight

Its not something that would have "evolved" through the films. Going to lightspeed is going to lightspeed. Thats it. Unless you're going to plaid of course.
