To be fair, Cradle of Filth has some amazing instrumentation. It's just Dani Filth is on my top 5 list of people that need to die very soon.

As for Slipknot, I will say this about them. If they got rid of the three members that don't do anything and got a new vocalist, then had the rest of the musicians put more of what they have into their music, you would have a pretty kick ass metal band. I was watching this guitar video with the two guitarists from Slipknot showing tips. Man, if these guys put that kind of work into their music, Slipknot wouldn't be so very annoying.
