Deathwatch

This is the recent film where some ww1 english soldiers capture a forward german trench, and find that is is evil.
I personally think that this film is yet another modern horror cliche.
I mean, the soil is infected. Remind you of anything?
...cough..event horizon...cough...ghost ship?
also, deathwatch seems to copy the twist at the end of ghost ship.
the sole survivor gets away, and then in ghost ship, she sees her old crew get on board a newer ship with the gold, and in Deathwatch, the guy gets away, and then the camera pans back to reveil the german prisoner sitting there, as he was when the film started.
This film is also scary in the sense that it is very very realistic.
the amount of bodies piled up, covered all over by thick mud, rats and blood makes it probably the most realistic war horror ever.
then again, i cant think of any more.
can you?

Jacob's Ladder, technically.

Jacob's Ladder is one of the most under-rated horror movies ever made.
The twist at the end is probably better than Deathwatch.

..and I said technically because of the war flashbacks, one of the few movies that actually deal with post traumatic stress disorder pertaining to wartime. And, it's considered horror.

I have not seen Deathwatch.

I LOVE Jacobs Ladder. I was genuinely shocked at the end of the movie.
