ok, see, here's my opinion...its all well and good to have an ''ugliest celebrity contest'', but doesnt it kinda defeat the purpose of being a celebrity? todays rich and famous are who they are because of, and i hate to say this, their good looks, in addition to their talents (if they have any). no offense, but any manager, agent, producer, whatever is not going to hire a nobody because their looks are, let's say, difficult to market. said manager, producer, or gent is going to be looking for an attractive man or woamn who can ,make their job easy for them, and in hollywood, this job would be to get the biggest audience. i guess this is just my roundabout way of saying that, although your contest is a good idea, its a bit difficult to set a standard of ''hollywood ugly'' when hollywood is a place where some of the best looking people in the world are found.
Ptsh. What a load of crap (no offence). Hollywood is SO not filled with the best people, Hollywood is filled with
A) rich people
B) talentless people who, in the eye of the world, are considered "sOoOOoOooooOoOo talented(!!!!!!)" because they repeat lines in a manner that they normally would not--which some people refer to as acting
or C) people who know how to put on makeup REAL good.
Nuh uh, dear, NOT pretty people, celebs are damn ugly. As Tyra Banks said on Top Model before showing her face with makeup, then without (and dear God that is a sight I don't want to see again), "Beauty is not something you are born with, it is something you create." Now, I totally disagree but seems like you're thinking along the same lines as Tyra here...yech!
i agree...but not with all of it

i agree..but SOME actors/actresses are butt ugly...there is no denying it
I may not like an actor, but I am not going to call someone like J-Lo (whom I dislike intensly) ugly. I have a feeling that there are alot of young or immature people on this board who instead of stating an intelligent opinion just call someone ugly. Either that or you are very insecure. When you make it to hollywood or become famous because of how you look (as opposed to talent as is the case with most actors currently that are popular) then maybe you are not ugly.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, we all have our own preferences, but ugly is a state of repugnance that is generally universal. So grow up kids, if you get your rocks off by jealously calling a celeb (who doesn't give a rat's ass what you think) ugly, I think you probably have to sort out some self worth issues.
