Harry Potter...work of the devil?

Nope 90% of them havn't there was a story on the TV ages ago done on christian skools in Australia that had banned the books and kids who brought the books to read at skool were suspended or sent home and the princepal hadn't even read the book 😠 People like that make me mad somtimes....They wont accept that there are more than just 1 type of people in this world...They have to have things there way 🙁

I Know theres a ton of hp fans, but i'm not one of them at all. my opinion only....but i feel it teaches kids witchcraft & when someone does something to you, it teaches you to put a spell on them. I've done some research on the author and found that the author researched witchcraft and spells out, cuz she wanted the books to be authentic as possible.

hahahahaha...ok,now if you wern't a fan ause you didn't like it i would brush it off.Taste difference ya know.But NEVER have I heard anything that riddiculous.HP was based off the Wiccan faith but JK has said millions of times shes not into teaching kids to do spells and stuff.There are lots of other books with magic and sorcery as well.Are you saying that all of those teach kids to do magic?

People only say that about HP cause its popular,If it wasn't,it would be left alone.

i think she was joking...im a christian...and i read the books all the time....and i dont do that....but someone at my church does that....i say read what u want.....it doesnt matter...but some ppl r like that 😑 and it makes me mad 😒

well....i shld say i disagree highly. I don't allow my kids to read, watch or buy anything harry potter. Has nothing to do w/popularity. When you mess w/witchcraft it opens doors for every other evil work to come in to your life. Why risk that??
I resent the fact that some of you have put Christians in some "stero type" catagory. It is witchcraft.... does hp not put spells on people in the movie if someone does something to him or his aunt? what is that teaching kids? When someone does something to you, do evil back, now how is that right? that shld tell ya something there. Kids see that and think WOW can i do that?? Whats the name of the school hp is attending?? LOL i mean come on..... and the fact is Witchcraft is real and yes they could do that if they practiced witchcraft. Satan is real!! saying it isn't doesn't change that fact 🙂

How does it teach witchcraft? Most of the spells are made up, if JKR did any research was for the word. Like lumos is the spell used to light up a wizards wand. While the latin word for light is luminarium. The root of lumos is luminarium

dunno why those morons thinks that harry potter is the work of a devil woman, alright, the writer might be a bit touched in the head that prompts her to do highly annoying things sometimes like killing off a major important character, but other than that i dont see anything on the book that promotes satanism or devil worship.
