Ever notice how Kerry doesn't mention that? He probably wants to froget that. I know that He's playing the war card alot right now but I'm sure that if he had any control over it, he wouldn't. Most people would like to put 'Nam behind them and move on.

I think that we can lear alot form listening to France. They have this horrible reputation for being invaded by Germany. But no body know or cares about the circumstances. Read up on that.
And France is the reason that the US exists. They helped us win the Revolutionary War, AND gave us the Idea for the damn thing in the first place! IMO what we did to them in WW2 was just partial repayment for what they've done for us.
France did help the Americans during the The revolution war. After all they didn't wanted the British Empire to own the Americas. France wanted a piece of the land too. What's most interesting is that later in 1838 they invaded Mexico (check out the pastry war) Now why would they start a war with a country so close to the US? It ponders many historians the true reasons behind the occupation of France on Mexico.
