What is it with people thinking Legolas is gay?

Okay my opinion, Legolas is not gay. Just because he has a best friend who is male, and spends a lot of time with him and doesn't get married doesn't mean he is gay. Perhaps it is the gay people who wish him gay. I have nothing against gay people....but i'm just wondering what is your opinion on this matter? 😛
