I think they R great...The extended editions r evn better.....but i think if they did even more the movies would get alittle 2 long and people would bore from sitting 2 much

1: He made the film for 12 year olds
2: It could have been more like the book
3: Should have done hobit first
4: Action was OK could have been better
5: Could have made legolas less of a savior
theres 5 for now

1 I dont think they are, though PJ himself said that they were "recommendable for 8 years and older" 😛

2 Could have been; but I doubt that most people would have liked it then.
It's great as it is as a film, and it's not LoTR, it's just an interpretation of it, and as such a briliant one.

3 Good idea... would have been interesting; though I think it was a good choice (good for PJ ^^) to make LoTR first as it is simply the better material for a good film;

I wonder how many threads are gonna be made of how lotr could of been different...i think ive counted more than 5! lol! someone should make a official "How Lotr could of been different discussion" thread, that way, all suggestions of how it could of been different could be there, instead of there being over 100 new threads of it, you know?

And just to add...Peter Jackson did a amazing job on the trilogy and worked his ass off filming it and doing the things he did, and it should be well appreciated, he worked so hard on these films, and it turned out beautifully and amazing, so lets show some appreciation now eh? And to the ones saying it could of been better, well i would love to see how you would make it better
