How do you draw hair like that!? Hair is probably what I have the most problem with.

the absolute best advice I can give there, you MUST have a good reliable mechanicle (10 dollar range) pencil. the line's will alway's be dark and clean.

Ive had the same one for a year now and I will never get rid of it

I've never been partial to mechanical pencils, but I'm inclined to try it.

hmm thats funny, best pensil i have ever used was a lead pencil
sharp point for a clean cut line plus lets you make fine details without inperfections

Pigma Microns are alcohol based pens and a good investment. Love these pens. Get some nice alcohol based color ink pens they don't leave streaks like Crayola or Roseart *shudders*. "Pros use alcohol based inks, so should you!" That's a qoute from my 2D Art teacher.

What paper do you use? Printer paper? If so eh, works if you're not going pro. But, if you are planning on going pro get some good paper, I recommend Canson, or Strathmore. Bristol or Sketch pads. High Grade quality. The 300 is for beginners/students, 400 is for advanced artists, 500 is for professionals/teachers.

Sorry to intrude on your thread. These are what I use. I spent close to $5,000 USD, for all my art supplies, on top of $30,000 USD for tuition. I know, somewhat, about this topic. If I don't know the answer to your question, I can ask one of my teachers and get back to you. That's the best thing you can get, free professional help!

hehe.. I was listening to Coldcut - Autumn Leaves and decided to draw on the paint program. Using zoom is very efficient 😉

Mystique>> I love ur coloring still 😄 .. Im too scared to color, I'll prolly mess up 😬

Her name is Alex

I made her up...it's a cute little girl with a box of bombs behind her back.
