yeah but it doesn't matter, whether YOU used it as an adverb or not he was using it as an adjective.. it didn't change what either one of you were saying.. but that doesn't matter. Kill Bill WAS a good movie, it was gorey yeah but who cares? It wasn't put into a horror movie genre...
actually it would change what i was saying... blood filled horror movies are usually the crapiest anyway... they think if they throw gore at you it will some how make it scarier.

Thats the thing, a human mind responds to things like blood and guts in resent and fear. It's not very appealing to the brian (there are exceptions?) Nowadays peoples minds have become used to seeing blood and cuts and severed heads in movies but way back when it was new and scary..
Kill Vol.1 sucked.
Taratino is a good director but he just doesnt know how to write a story.Instead of putting the whole story out of order he should've put it in the order it happened. It wasnt fair to me that I had to spend a whole 90 minutes of my life watching this person fight so many people for a reason I didnt even know much about.
Kill Bill Vol.2 on the other hand is excellent 🙂
In retrospect, after seeing "Kill Bill: Volume 2", I have to disagree. Aside from the anime segment, the hospital rape scene, and the "pussy wagon", which I detested, I did like "Kill Bill" deep down. It was a fun flick to watch.
The problem lies in the fact that the movies were split up. There was PLENTY of backstory in "Kill Bill" to merit Kiddo's actions. She "roared and rampaged" through 1/2 of her "death list", much like "The Bride Wore Black", with the Kung Fu themed movie feel.
The plot, Stormy, is simple. Revenge. Gore and obscene language is typical Tarantino.
That said, "Kill Bill: Volume 2" was the beginning of the end. The elaborate explanation of Kiddo's backstory was totally unnecessary and would have been more effective at the beginning of 1, during it's flashback segment.
Had that been thrown into the first movie, cut out all the
Spoiler:, and of course drop the HUGE BUCKETS OF SAP that were alllll throughout this movie, the two would have worked seemlessly.
unnecessary training montages, her being buried alive, Budd getting fired from his job, and her drama trying to find Bill through the Latino pimp
I didn't see the point in
Spoiler:Seemed like a time filler, and besides, if it were to "test her strength", both physically and mentally, was this not already tested in the first movie, given everything she had to overcome?
The Bride being buried alive. Wasn't Budd being an acomplice in her attempted murder enough of a catalyst to murder him?
2 was just a messy, messy movie. It jumped from having a little correlation with the first installment, to being an "Enough" like girl power ripoff, back to her exacting her revenge, then plunging into some baby drama, which was superbly sugar coated and sappy. Not typical Tarantino fare, by any means.
All of that coupled with one of the biggest letdowns of an ending to a franchise I have EVER seen, it just made for a really unusual, and boring viewing experiences. It was just a messy movie that just didn't stick, and would have been so much better had it been conglomorated, shaved down, and given an over all "hip" feel in lieu of the 2nd's tone of taking itself way too seriously.
I'd consider it one of the worse movies of the year, in which doing so, you can't even take "Kill Bill Volume 1" into consideration. They are two totally seperate movies, and this movie can't stand alone.

Dude your being really unfair with this movies. Its great. The story and the acting is great and it focused more on story between all these characters so we got to see what they where really like before she started killing em all.

I understand what the plot is I just think that before she started her death list it could have given us the wedding scene at the beginning of the second, but it just rushed in.
yes, van helsing indeed.. what has happened to our beloved vampires? THEN they killed vampires AND picked on the poor werewolves in 'Underworld'..psh.. lycans.. I know that that's short for lycanthropes or Werewolves but please the way Kate Beckinsale said it really pissed me off.. the best part of that movie was her outfit.. by far.
The Day After Tom. had to be the worst film I saw the whole summer. Besides the scenes of the storms ripping through the cities, there was nothing even remotely good about the film. The way they showed the whole story of Dennis Quaid(sp?) and his son, Jake whatever his name is, was just pathetic. At the end I wanted them both to die in the cold and I didn't really care what happened. What another surprise, another summer movie with action and no story, only this one was by far the worst of the summer for me.
