I liked the Sailormoon live action quite a bit.
However, I would be very wary of a US-made live action Sailormoon, and this is a good reason why -
And there was a lot more different between the manga and anime versions of Stars than simply the Starlights themselves, YP. Nearly the entire plot was different, really.
Ugh, I remember seeing that video a couple of years ago.
I'm extremely happy that SABAN didn't go through with that garbage.

I'd actually think a Live Action American Sailor Moon movie would turn out much better than the DB seems to be. Then again they'd probably go scew it up in casting.

I guess you're right. Since "Sailor Moon" doesn't have intense action and effects similar to the DB series, it wouldn't be hard to make an accurate live-action movie.

FLCL was on years before Death Note.The senshi were far more powerful in the manga, yes. Though the manga story also differed from the anime story, especially with Stars/Sailorstars.
Sailor Senshi is what they were called in Japanese. Soldiers is simply the English translation of Senshi. Both are correct. They were called 'scouts' in the dub version because they were trying to cut out as much violence as possible.
Anyway, if no one's ever noticed, I love Sailormoon 😊

I need to finish the manga. Though I forgot where I left off. Somewhere during the arc Rini shows up. Should also finish the anime. Though starting over in Japanese would probably be smarter than starting at Japanese from where I last saw in English.
Though for some reason I've got the urge to watch the final few episodes of the first season. Where the scouts die and all that.
Well, it was only released in Japan. You can find a English sub of it, though.

It's actually easy enough to find online to read. Finding it anywhere else would probably be the challenge.

its funny cause ive been watching Sailor Moon and other animes in Japanese w/ English subs for like 2 weeks straight and now sometimes i think people are speaking Japanese around me 😂
