Oh God, He told me about this, this little boy is now an 18 year old guy and he told me his first crush was when he was 8 and that he rememebered crying because he was confused, you obviously misread me, geez.

What! Theres nothing wrong Stormy day, He is just gay, goodness, This guy is a year older than me now and he is one of the sweetest guys I know, there is no demon in him. Not only is he drop dead gorgeous, but he is really funny, nice, and caring. When his best friend (who happens to be my friend too, thats how i met him) injured her knee He was at the hospital everyday and night so he could take care of her. Does that sound like a guy with a demon.
not only that but he loves his boyfriend very much and doesn't cheat on him like most straight guys cheat on their girlfriends, not only that but I remember that on his boyfriends birthday he bought him a pair of Jerome dahan jeans aka sevens and he bought him the marc Jacobs jakcet he wanted, even though he was completely broke afterwards. An 8 yr old boy had a sexual attraction? 8 yrs old? are you for real? How many kids have a SEXUAL attraction at 8 yrs old? i'm not talking about crush, you said, Sexual attraction. For a kid to have Sexual attraction at 8 yrs old, i'd say he would have to be around sex alot or seen it, watched or had playboy.
I don't knw the atmosphere, was the parents teaching it was ok, school, did he have family or frnds that were like that or that hung around at the house??
Did the parents of this kid walk in on him, doing things w/a little boy? (that could be curiosity not gay, kids do that w/opposite sex and same sex at that age but doesn't mean they are gay) they see something on TV or walk in on mom and dad and they try it NOT knowing it's wrng
I do agree w/stormy on the situation. GOd set the example for everyone. there's alot of scriptures in the bible stating its wrng. 🙂

Ok to set things straight, This guy told me the day he knew he was gay was when he felt a sexually attracted to another boy at 8, I mean it could happen, and he cried because he was confused, I just met him through my friend and realized he also goes to my church, but from what i know he is a completely normal guy, and his parents are very sweet people, I don't know his background or anything, but What I do know is that he didn't choose this! My friend who has known him longer said that when He was younger he was so ashamed of his sexuality and that he would cry thinking why he wasn't 'normal'. Why would anyone choose that? 🙁

Erm.. Firstly dont you see the huge contradiction between your OUTRAGE that he had sexual feelings at age eight and then going on to state that kids "do that" at that age...
We develop our sexuality early. MOST people experiment with either/or sex - and yes, it doesnt mean we are gay or straight, it means we are people. Most gays, even your rampant homophobes will have "messed around" with members of the same sex growing up and then go into severe denial about it when faced with the "ITS BAD" signals they get from more conservative people.
I think thats where most of the anger against homosexuality comes from - most people who are violent to wards gays have had some sort of gay experience growing up , and they transmute the shame into anger.
Sooner we lose all these pointless NAME-TAGS about what our sexuality is the better.

Look everybody, its one thing to state your opinion, or respond to someones opinion with your own. What you people are doing is bordering on disturbing.
We all have our own opinions on this subject. To think that youre going to change someones mind with your oh so witty and scathing remarks is ridiculous...especially the religious folks or the gays. Those two groups have firmly made up their mind about this stuff, and nothing you do or say is going to change that. To insult someone and try to ridicule them or say that theyre wrong is equally lame.
So far the only facts I've seen so far are from the article that Tex posted (very interesting by the way). Everything else is opinion...you can't argue opinion because theres nothing to argue.

Who decides at which point in your life experimentation becomes attraction then? Because from what I can gather one is perfectly normal and the other sends you straight to hell, so i'd want to make sure i understood the distinction.
