Why is it a different user name??

When i load a user's name into my buddy list, it says it loaded, but then when i go to my buddy list its a completely different user name in its place.
Why is this? and how can i fix it?

perhaps that member just changed his/her name?

or it gets the original one instead of the new one

nope, im trying to put John Spartan ,but hes new and has never changed his name to 'ZEd' which is the name that comes up.

it works perfectly normal for me ...

delete the ZEd one and try again? (John Spartan = John😖partan117 I take?)
