back on track
feeling a little responsible for starting this thread off, i might repeat a couple of FAScinating bits of trivia i mentioned earlier:
1) Ian fleming's Bond WAS scottish, but only AFTER they made Dr No w/ connery. before then his nationality was assumed to be english, but actually not specified. (fleming's #1 choice for the film role was Roger Moore! but he was too busy making the Saint for telly).
2) if you include David Niven from the absurd Casino Royale film (actually a cash-in follow-up to What's New Pussycat by the same director with much of the same cast), the next Bond will bee the 007th actor to take the role, and if that could be done in 2007 the glorious synchronicity would be obvious.
- note Tarantino wants to make a low-budget tarantino sort of Bond film of casino royale. gets my vote. Clooney for bond? ...
good to see you back 😉
well, the problem is ... it's mostly about the movies. I doubt many have read the books, and judge solely by the movies. btw, where did he wrote it?
Casino Royal up to this point isn't canon, so that shouldn't count (luckily), but as soon as Tarantino gets the green light for CR, I'll cheer 🙂 and no Clooney! come on, someone from Kentucky to play a british gentleman? 😛
