That's not true. "Hulk" didn't do as well as expected, neither did "Daredevil", "Punisher", or the last couple of "Batman" movies.

The only other truely successful superhero franchise, aside from "Spiderman", is "Blade".

I have seen the new Catwoman movie... I was skeptical going in as there are severe discrepancies in the casting. Catwomans suit is all wrong and looks like crap, Halle Barry (sic?) can't act for crap, and Catwoman is supposed to be a white chick.. Depite all of this, I went to see it anyway at a sneak-peek... If it wasn't for the fact that I was with a really sexy date that night I would have got up and left. They went so far away from the comic book that there is no way to redeem it, the acting was horrible, the casting sucked, and the coreography was simply... well.. pathetic is a NICE way to put it. I strongly urge everyone to not waste their money, I sure won't be renting it.

I just saw the new trailer, and after being severly disappointed by the first two, I actually really enjoyed this trailer. It gave me a little more faith in it. Actually a lot more faith. I wasn't planning on seeing it, but now I think I might just have to.

lol. i seen the trailers and all i think of is the pain of how they took a white leather, crazy no super power women that was cool to a black ware nothing, stuoid super power women. like realy could they make an other change to make it diff from the comics.

Not only can Halle not act, she looks dumb in the outfit. I very much doubt ill make the time for this one.

Ever since Halle Berry uttered that dumbass quip in X-Men... "You know what happens to a toad when it gets hit by lightning? The same thing that happens to everything else", I decided that should never be cast in a comic-based film again. Ever. After seeing the god-awful costume they came up with, and the recent trailers, I stand firm on my intial thoughts. Not even a rental for me when it comes out on video. I'd rather watch Hulk again.

I love Halle Berry. I love her so much, she is a talented actress and is really beautiful. But, what I cannot understand is why is she playing Catwoman?

The comics from the start portray Catwoman as a white girl instead of a black girl. What were the motives for the change in skin color? I am all for liberation and change, but only if it is appropriate. But this really doesn't make much sense, now does it?

These comic book characters are what they are, and that shouldn't be changed. I would never accept it if Superman suddenly turned black or Spider-Man suddenly turned black. That is how they were made and who they are. It just doesn't do the original idea justice.

I don't want to make you Halle fans mad but I don't like her. (As Catwoman) My cousin is a big comic book fan and he was pissed off. Don't ask me, he just is.

even without the whole skin issue, the movie really doesn't look that good.

it looks somewhat like Daredevil, where we see a CGI Halle Berry jumping around from building to building. The only thing that looks cool is her whip. There aren't many whips in modern movies. There use to be whips all the time in the 80's and 70's, but there has been a strike or something. Whip-age has decreased for some reason.

Same situation as Julie Newmar and Eartha Kitt in the television show.

Not that anyone cares, this movie is going to bomb no matter who Catwoman is played by, which there is still only in my heart, being Michelle Pfeiffer.

Forget Halle Berry!! Please vote for Michelle Pfeiffer from the 1992 classic super-hero feature "Batman Returns". Right now!! And I really mean it this time!!

i just think the whole thing idea of this movie is just another way to get people's $$ by showing women in things that they're pouring out of, its just pathetic on the side of hollywood
