The animation automatically sped up; I'm not sure if you want it that way, but I can change it back if you don't. The red-to-black and vice-versa one is going to be a lot trickier.
EDIT: Shit, it's going to be a TON harder to do the second one you wanted. This one is going to take awhile unless I find a miracle way to do it.

The likely hood of that happening is very doubtful, but it could happen considering that the webbing is generated by the symbiont's own mass. But the answer is probably no because the symbiont may not have given Venom the web ability had it not been motivated by its obsession over Spider-Man, as well as Brock's obsession over Spider-Man.
I think it's pretty much been stated in the comics that the only reason that the symbiotes have the ability to produce webbing is because they attached to Spider-Man. Expanding on this, one could say with some certainty that the knowledge of producing the web fluid was 'absorbed' by the symbiote, who then altered its form and certain areas of its genetic code.
However, the symbiotes have shown an ability to do things similar to what Spider-Man's webbing makes him capable of by extending tendrils and the like.

Yes but then How is Carnage capable of Changing the shape of his limbs. One might suggest by willing it. so then if the Host wanted to swing like spiderman could he not do what Carnage does?
Ok, come on guys.... try reading whats been posted throughout these forums. All of this stuff has been covered. All Symbiotes have the ability to form weaponry and whatnot out of their material. Whether they do it or not is up to the host. The Venom Symbiote can shoot webbing due to the fact that it was linked to Spider-Man for a while, who wanted it to shoot webbing. Yet, every other Symbiote in the Marvel Universe has shown some form of "webbing" mostly just using tendrils as a substitute.
The mouth bit is a representation of both the host and the Sym itself. The mouth usually symbolizes the deranged thoughts and whatnot that either have. In Toxin's case, notice the absence of a mouth when Pat is in control, due to his nobility and all for justice and what not. Yet Toxin does have a mouth to show he's more primitive, morally, and whatnot.

Lasher grows Dr. Octopus-like tendrils out of his back, Scream has her prehensile hair, etc. The symbiotes are all different but similar. To answer your question: I believe that the symbiote certainly could form its hands into weapons like Carnage, but I don't think that Brock has ever wanted to do so. And, yes, the symbiote could perform an activity similar to webslinging if it wanted.
Just as a side note: it's retarded how each symbiote spawned is stronger than its parent. Especially with someone like Toxin, as it just gets ridiculous, especially with a good guy.
