His body looks fantastic there (love the tight "leather" jacket), however, has Eddie been eating well? His face seems a bit gaunt. Invite the man home and cook him a good meal.
This is from a series I didn't read; and I've been hearing a lot about his demise from cancer...is that right? Does this depict him with failing health, or is it just the artist's expression of Eddie's "hard edge," giving him such an angular face? I remember him with a more square face in his initial appearance, and later, a slightly longer face but still fuller cheeks than this.

No, this is from the currnet "venomous" arc of Marvel Knights Spidey, a series which is considerably more geared toward an older market--
I consider Cho to be a master and fantastic illustrator of the human form, not the best in the facial category--but he is getting better.
His Venom is boss, though. Here's the first one I ever saw of Cho's--dating back to '93

I couldn't possibly read it. I can't watch him die that way; I saw it all too recently in RL and I would have associations and vivid knowledge of what such a death entails and I couldn't, couldn't, couldn't... Eddie too? Even in comic books it eats us?

Eddie never died. Rather, in the first five issues of Specatcular Spider-man Volume 2 (which, I rather disliked.... sorry to say), our man Brock was found out to be suffering from Cancer. Though, it turned out with a semi-good ending (it really depends on how you look at it and what character you like more, lol). The Marvel Knights version, though doesn't seem to fit in with this 'new' continuity, but instead is almost like a mix of the original and a fresh new one.
Marvel Knights is more graphic than we're used to, and really conveys more human and emotional issues than other titles. I like it very much.
And of course Eddie's not dead. Though I was wondering about a year and a half ago. He just seemed to disappear for a while, but that was because of the time between the end of the first SSM arc, and the start of the Tsunami Venom title.

the child slipped past it's mother and under the door in search fo a host it soon found one a girl was gettign changed in the locker rooms it bonded with her beofre she ven knew it waso n her it created the spandex suit that iot always does but thsi one was al igth purple couelr the creature was knwon as chaos whiel it's host was knwon as ....fever red
