Paola doesn't need anybody's protection. Maybe I shouldn't even have opened my own toothy maw...but, I did. I think I like Fox's writing so much, but also Paola so much, that I was a touch disturbed by his latest and its inclusion of her in an all-too-dire danger...
So, I must confess I was pleading mercy on my own behalf...I just couldn't bear the thought that this looked like the END of Paola! I prefer "blandies" as victims- people who do not enliven my life in some other capacity.
