Underworld 2 and Kate Beckinsale

HAs anyone heard anything about underworld 2, i heard beckinsale has signed on for it, but no word about it's progression.

There is already an Underworld 2 thread, and it's right beneath this one, and if this is a Kate Beckansale thread than it should be in the celebrity forum.
