My take on future movies

Hey all. I'm new around here, but I did something similar to this in the Spiderman forum. Basically, if there are plans to make the new Batman movie into a franchise, here's how I'd handle a trilogy, were I the one in charge. My apologies for just tossing it all out here, but it's running endless circles in my head and I need a rest from it.

Batman Begins II
No, that's not what I'd call it, but the title is beside the point. Assuming the villains of Batman Begins don't carry over into the next movie, we're obviously going to need a new foe. Who to take? I gotta go with Bane. If you think about it, the three most significant Batman villains are Joker (made Batman), Ra's al Ghul (trained Batman), and Bane (broke Batman), and he's the only one to yet be portrayed as a major character.

Now yes, he was already done (poorly) in Batman Forever, but it's no stretch of the imagination to have someone else take the Venom serum and become a new, intelligent incarnation. We'd see this happen in the first act of the movie. Meanwhile, Batman breaks up a cult (The Order of Saint Dumas) and fights/rescues Jean-Paul Valley, a man they brainwashed to serve as their warrior, Azrael. Bruce is impressed with his fighting skills, and helps get Valley psychiatric help.

The second act would see Bane orchestrate a massive prison breakout, which Batman would then be trying to control. I know in the comics it was actually Arkham, but I don't think a dozen cameos would work as most movie-goers wouldn't know who anyone was. The third act would have Bane and a now exhausted Batman face off, culminating in Batman getting his back broken. The movie would end with Bane controlling the city, and a paralyzed, bed-ridden Bruce handing the mantle of the bat over to Valley.

Due to post limit, next movie covered in next post.

Batman Begins III
Again, not the title. Stop focusing on that. For this movie, the story would obviously carry over. Valley is now Batman, and Bane is still the villain. For the first act, Valley would get the grips of being Batman, testing out his skills on various thugs under Bane's command. Eventually, he'd face off against the big man himself and defeat him.

For the second act, as Valley continues to clean up crime his psychological trauma begins to resurface. The medical help he had didn't totally erase his conditioning, which was linked in part to the mask he wore as Azrael. Donning the mantle of the bat is causing his conditioning to resurface. Valley begins to lose control, and starts seriously hurting the criminals. Bruce tries to control him, but obviously can't do much about it.

For act three, Valley makes himself a wicked looking new suit and intentionally begins hunting down and punishing criminals. Bruce, meanwhile, gets some medical help of his own to heal his back so he can walk again. While the comics did it with psychic healing, I suppose you could do something like stem cells for the movie. Cutting edge and all that. In any event, the third act would conclude with Bruce, wearing the old Batman suit, facing off against Valley, once again fighting/rescuing him and resuming his rightful place as Batman.

What I'd like to point out about this proposed trilogy is the overarching story to it. In Batman Begins, we see Bruce becoming Batman. In the proposed sequel, we'd see Batman fall, while in the final film we'd see Batman return. The story comes full circle.

Technically, I can think of another way of taking the trilogy (which would in fact give the potential of spawning off another franchise), but I don't think it's as strong and won't bother posting it here unless requested. In any event, thanks again for tolerating this. I feel better now.

They should totally skip over Valley being Batman. It would be the worst idea to do for a movie, especially an entire movie. And especially the last one.

Batman: Shadow of the Bat (not a very long movie)

act 1: Batman finds that Catwoman is not dead and that Riddler is back, he fights a few street thugs and we're on to Bruce. Bruce is working on the bat boat when Alfred says "Here is your invitaion to the mayor's anniversery special." He decides to go. But with the Bat-suit in the trunk of the car because he feels Riddler will crash the party. He then meets and talks with buisness man Rupert Thorn, who is really a mob boss.

act 2: Selina Kyle gets blackmailed by Rupert Thorn because he knows who she is. So she steals a few thousand dollars, fights Batman for 4 minutes and escapes. Bruce then goes to the party, has fun, but his prediction was right. Riddler and his new partner Rupert Thorn, and his servant Catwoman steal valubles from the guests. Somehow Bruce slips by and gets into Bat-suit. He makes an outstanding entrance through the skylights. He beats up the gangsters, and chases the trio outside. Though he ends up on a building top, he glides down to the criminals using his cape. He punches Riddler, Beats down on Thorn, but Catwoman gets away along with beaten up Riddler and Rupert Thorn.

act 3: Bruce goes out with Selina again, and he and she are kidnapped by Riddler and R.Thorn. Bruce uses a lockpick to let him and Selina to escape, but she will not go. Bruce then goes outside and swims to the harbor. He then takes the Bat boat and as Batman, goes to the hide out. Batman and Rupert's gangsters fight and Batman keeps walking towards Rupert. Riddler then attacks Batman and fails to stop him. Riddler is then punched into the water, supposivly dying. Rupert Damands Selina to protect him. She says,"I've worked for buisness men before Rupert, and now I'll kill you just like Max!(see Batman Returns) It'll waste my last life but, hell, it's worth it." Selina then says" Good bye, Bruce, I'll always remember you." She then blows him a kiss and she tackles Rupert into the water keeping him down under with her. They both die. Riddler then comes back onto the surface and is arrested. Bruce then swings onto a building top and looks at the bat-signal with composed Bat-music playing until the end. This has nothing to do with the police. exept for the whole Riddler arrested thing.

I would have Joker come into number 2, only have a Big Arkham, so you can lock them up for the sequals lol.

I think The Joker should definately be in one of the films. And if they do put him in one of them, they probably wil, he has to be scary. The Joker is supposed to be so sick and insane that he's scary, like The Sixth Sense scary.

Batman villains are Joker (made Batman),

No he didn't. Read a comic once in a while.

In the movie The Joker made Batman. But in the comics it was Joe Chill I believe.

Oh, by the way Mr Zero, your sig is funny.

They did a revist in the comics, Batman does not know who killed his Mtoher and Father.

Joker never in the comics killed Thomas and Martha Wayne, He did in the movie, well because I guess they needed a link or something.
