Nintendo GameCube specs.

I have a GameCube, a system that I adore. It can generate between 6 to 12 million polygons per sec considering environments, fog, textures and lighting etc. PS2 claims that it can generate 75 million polygons per second, but that's utterly ridiculous considering GameCube has more realistic graphics and cleaner graphics than the PS2. The PS2 has a 300 MHz processor while GameCube has a 435 MHz one. Xbox has a 733 MHz processor. Microsoft claims thier X-box generates 125 million but most official sources indicate that this only includes character models without counting environments or textures, just like the PS2. I think both Microsoft and Sony exaggerated the power of their systems and that Nintendo is quite modest. If I had to estimate the GameCube's polygon count just considering character models, I would place it at 90 million or 100 million compare between the PS2 and Xbox. I'm just looking at the facts and I would like to hear your opinions on it.

My mistake Gamecube has a 485 MHz processor.

uhh.. welcome to spec world.. its all about not including things to make something look stronger. it all comes down to what they do with that hardware anyway. spec doesnt matter if you got crap games

yea but GC does have good games.

true dat 😉

XBOX has good games too😛...awesome graphics too

but has a smaller library of games

GC has more crap games then good ones though.. and most games that come out on all the platforms get a lower review for GC then on say xbox
