the secret behind "like" "goes" and "said"

i would just like to say that its stupid how adults always diss us youngings for saying stuff like:
"and so i was like 'no thats not true' then she goes 'yes it is stupid'"
instead of saying
"and so i said 'no thats not true' then she said 'yes it is, stupid'"

now there is a reason for why we say "like" and "goes"
1) theres more then one thing your saying to describe a person talking, so it makes it more interesting
and the main one,
2) instead of saying "he said 'im going to the toilet'" when we say stuff like "he was like 'im going to the toilet'" we add character to how we say it. we dont just say it, we say it how the person said it.

well although half of you wont read this i just thought id express my statement 😎
