The new x-men suck,the powers the characters are really crap.The writers are really scraping the bottom of the mutant barrel for those totally lame characters,it just shows how all the best power ideas where used up years ago-so now they either have basically the same powers as existing characters or the powers are just unbelievibly sh*t!!!

And I don't agree with you, Lisa-J. Yes, all the good powers were used up ages ago but this storyline has much potential, as do the new mutants represented in it. To come up with new powers is near impossible! The X-Men have been around for years and the writers have come up with all the powers imaginable.
I love New X-Men: Academy X, and I haven't even finished reading the first issue. So, I am not going to agree the powers and characters are not worth the paper they are printed on. LOL. 😛

I love the kids but i do say they didn't do what they did in the original new mutants. Characters like Cannonball and Sunspot, Empath and Syrin. I'm for draw the character with a power showing then make up what kid of power it is. And i have to see more energy powers to live, so they better start with that.
I like Hellion. He was cute in the first issues now his face is all disfigured. Cannonball used to be ugly now they made him attractive. 😂
