Okay Mrs Smart Ass, how many stars are visible, on average, from earth, at night?

I wouldn't know, I've never been able to stand of every square surface inch of the planet and gaze upward...but if I were able to, I'd probably just get distracted by the sheer beauty of it, and forget to count.
