The most daring comedies

This thread is not about the funniest comedies, but the most daring. Which comedy left you thinking, "How can they get away with this?"

I've got four to list:
Blazing Saddles
Dr. Strangelove
American Psycho
Election

History of The World Part 1

Had a few moments I couldn't believe they included

There's Something About Mary and Kingpin just due to the raunch factor.

For it's time I'd say Blazzing Saddles.

Dr. Strangelove, definately. Blazing Saddles is also a good choice.

Also, Happiness. It isn't a straight forward comedy as the two above choices, but it's still considered comedic.

The Life of brain .period.

Any of the Zucker's earliest works, namely "Kentucky Fried Movie" and "Airplane!", in which they did get away with alot.
