not really jackson the prez after lincoln was considered the worst due to his lack of loyalty and suspected treason, so bush isnt the worst but i really dont think kerry will do anything diff. or better, these douches always say they'll do shit and when we elect them they do jack shit

yet all must realize that FDR created many projects that failed miserably... in fact for every 1 project 3 failed, he also atempted to rig the surpreme court to give him the power to pass more legislation. but the true thing he gave the US economy and country as a whole was hope.

Yeah, I'm perfectly well aware of the Great Depression. But at the same time, you can't compare FDR to Bush, because first of all, the economy was bad when FDR came into office. Second, he was at least trying to fix it... Bush seems to be doing very little in that direction.

I wasn't comparing FDR to Bush (in fact, I never mentioned which president was in office at the time), nor was I comparing any president for that matter. I'm comparing the states of the economy under various presidencies, as your original statement was that the economy "is worse than it's ever been than under anyone else."
