I appreciate constructive criticism ✅ However, I don't appreciate derogatory comments without validation. I hate that, makes me wonder why said person has the right to comment negatively if they're not going to take the time to back themselves up - it's pointless. It's all very well saying whether a piece of work is good or not so, but why? What could be improved? What was good/bad? Seriously, it makes all the difference.
Carry on doing what you're doing. The bottom line is that these people wouldn't be posting their work if they didn't want responses. You're probably one of very few, like me, who actually make the effort to give a fair and constructive critique. Far as I'm concerned if people can't handle advice, they're in the wrong game.
that's my feeling exactly. if you're so vulnerable to whatever is thrown at you, especialy when it comes to ones work...well, then, be off with you. so long as the critique is in a positive light and not so harming. but on balance...little good can be had when one says, "You're shit is awesome!!" (insert eek smilie here)
