I hate it when ppl just don't understand, I'm sorry if this wastes space but I'm really upset okay I'll tell you.............................

Some of you may find this pathetic, but when I showed my piano teacher the fellowship of the ring piano book, I couldn't wait toget started.
My first worries started when she was truning the pages roughly, infact they are all crinkled and old looking, bit that is not all!
she then circled notes IN PEN so I can't remove it, but I was ok because I'm used to it there by now.
But it didn't stop there, oh no, she decided that she would change the music, so she grabbed a pencil and started adding notes into the music, how dare she ruin what Howard Shore has created.
But that's not all, I managed to rub out all pencil marks she made, but they are practically still there, but no, last lesson, she bent the corners of tghe pages so she could turn them easily, I was really annoyed, but she then told me she was about to mark some note in pen, and so I told her not to, but sh did it anyway, I'm getting upset now.
It's not because it's a piano book, it's because its a lotr book, I wanted to keep it neat and safe for me to show my granchildren, why can't people understand?

I completely understand - yes, most likely, this thread will be removed soon but before it does, I want to tell you how utterly WRONG that is!!! They CANNOT do that, regardless of whether it is LotR music or not! HAs she never heard of a little thing called respect?!?

People should not do that. I hate when people do that. Its mean and ignorant, especially because she didnt ask you. EVIL

I told her that if she had to mark it, then do it in pencil and she just said she didn't have a pencil and went ahead with a pen.

That is why I stopped taking lessons, my piano teacher was horrible and would mark all my books, and say I was obviously stupid, so I stopped taking lessons with her and my grandma taught me instead!

my boy scout leader used to mark up my survival guide in6th greade......book thing....made me mad!!!!

and yeah my piano teach does the same thing...in ALL my books...don't have any LOTR books

also I would have objected to things like that from the beginning, I am one of those people who would argue for Scotland! I hate it when people don't listen to my morals (some are decent though)

what bloody cheek... none of my piano teachers would have dared do anything like that... the most they did was to VERY lightly underline trouble spots or bracket areas they wanted me to practice - which i was happy with because they were trying to get the best out of me learning songs that i had brought in.
