I'm one of those who understand and you're spot on. It would be a dream come true for me to see a Star Wars/Iron Maiden connection.

Gary Oldman

Gary Oldman's voice will NOT be heard in the upcoming STAR WARS film. Gary was offered, and agreed to perform in the film, in fact he was excited and looking forward to the work. The snag that made it impossible however is that this film is being made as a non-SAG (Screen Actor's Guild) film. George Lucas and gang agreed to hire Gary Oldman if he in fact would become a union buster, and perform work illegally overseas. As a resident of America, and also a member of SAG, out of respect and solidarity with the other members, he could not and would not consider violating his union's rules

so i dont think so. an actor or actress may be fined for breaking the terms and conditions .

so what is the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) ?

Screen Actors Guild is the nation’s premier labor union representing actors. Established in 1933, SAG has a rich history in the American labor movement, from standing up to studios to break long-term engagement contracts in the 1940s to fighting for artists’ rights amid the digital revolution of the 21st century. With 20 branches nationwide, SAG represents nearly 120,000 actors in film, television, industrials, commercials and music videos. The Guild exists to enhance actors’ working conditions, compensation and benefits and to be a powerful, unified voice on behalf of artists’ rights. SAG is a proud affiliate of the AFL-CIO

Jeremy Irons is the next best pick.

its obvious.

christian coulson. GREAT voice candidate.

Jeremy Irons???? Hmm Scar as Grievous... Why not?

I think the Mark Hamill idea would rock, I've heard him do some of those other voices and he is good, plus it would be a cool way to finish the movies off- but not likely to happen methinks...

Nope.

This would never happen but MIKE PATTON,man with a 1000 voices would be sweet.......

Anthony Daniels

Rock Moranus- So....Lonestar, once again we see that evil triumphs over good.... "lift that helmet up, I can never tell if you're making faces at me under there" (Mel Brooks, Space Balls)

you have the ring.....and i see your schwartz is as big as mine!
lets see how well you...handle it

So are the other actors violating SAG rules by starring in the films?

If they are members of SAG, then yes, they are violating union contracts. The next step is to investigate which of these actors are actually involved with SAG.

the stewie voice from family guy

How about: using the audio magic of Ben Burtt, the General is voiced by-

George Lucas!!
