When I thought my wife and son were abducted...I got scared because the front door was left open...the trash was sitting on the porch...my son was gone...and her car and purse were still at the house...I knew she would be leaving with a friend that morning to visit an old lady but things didn't seem right. I noticed that the "car seat" for my son was still in the house...her cell phone was in her purse as well and never goes anywhere without her cell phone.
All evidence pointed to an abrupt exit by my wife and I could only assume that she was abducted while taking out the trash......
I called everyone on both sides of the family and NO ONE knew anything about the situation meaning to me...this was unplanned. That's when I realized that something bad happend...
I literally bawled my eyes out because I thought someone took my family away from me and I could only assume the unspeakable atrocities that would occur.
Turns out that she just left with a lady friend in that friends car instead of taking her car...Her friend had a car seat. My wife was only going to be gone for half an hour so she decided to leave her purse. Also, the door had a problem closing properly, as I found out later.She called me as soon as she got home because she heard from her mom how concerned I was.
